COMPATIBILITY
• PageMill 1.0 is incompatible with Aaron Extension 1.1.1 and earlier. Choosing Window > Show Attributes Inspector in PageMill 1.0 results in a system error (e.g., Type 1, Bus Error) when the Aaron 1.1.1 system extension is installed. PageMill 1.0 is compatible with Aaron 1.1.3. Aaron is a shareware utility, produced by Edward Voas & Greg Landweber, which alters the appearance of the system icons, windows, menus, and dialog boxes.

APPLICATION NOTES
• Contact Adobe's FaxYI information system or the Adobe home page on the World Wide Web (http://www.adobe.com/Support/FaxYI.html) to obtain the current technical information on PageMill. FaxYI is an automated fax-back system that can automatically fax you answers to frequently asked questions about Adobe products. FaxYI is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 206-628-5737 from a Touch-Tone phone to request a document from FaxYI.
• PageMill 1.0 supports HTML 2.0 tags and some commonly used Netscape extensions. PageMill cannot create a page containing multiple forms, tables, blink, columns, and text wrap around images. To obtain a list of the HTML tags supported by PageMill 1.0, request document #201301 from Adobe's FaxYI or Web site.
• Create a backup of your existing HTML files before opening and saving them in PageMill. After opening an existing HTML document and saving it in PageMill 1.0, PageMill may rewrite the HTML tags created by another application. For example, when opening and saving a file, PageMill removes text wrap, converts <p> tags to <br> tags and <align=center> tags to <center> tags. When PageMill opens an existing HTML file containing tables, blink, and columns, the HTML tags for those features are not altered.
• PageMill's Preview mode closely emulates the way a page appears in the Netscape 1.1 browser. Other browser applications interpret HTML codes and tags differently. To ensure your document displays correctly, view it in several browsers (e.g., NCSA Mosaic, MacWeb) before uploading it to a Web server.
• When unable to use a form in a PageMill document on the Web, obtain document #201302 from Adobe FaxYI or the Adobe home page on the WWW for instructions on troubleshooting forms.
• PageMill requires System 7 Pro or System 7.5 or later to drag and drop from the Finder into PageMill. PageMill supports drag and drop within the application (e.g. between open windows) in System 7.1 and earlier.
• In the Attributes Inspector, pressing Tab returns you to the Page View instead of moving the cursor to the next field on the Attributes Inspector. Pressing the Tab key twice replaces the object selected in the Page View with a Tab. Choose Edit > Undo to restore the deleted selection.
• PageMill contains Network Copy Detection (NCD). PageMill's NCD is designed to prevent unlicensed copies of PageMill with the same registration number (i.e., serial number) from running concurrently. When unlicensed copies of the same registration number are detected, PageMill returns an alert requesting the current copy of PageMill to quit while the other is running. To allow multiple copies of PageMill applications to run concurrently, purchase and install additional copies of PageMill.
